FAQ
How long does Permanent Makeup last?
Permanent Makeup is semi-permanent and usually lasts 3–5 years, gradually fading over time. Longevity depends on your skin type, lifestyle, skincare and the area treated. A colour refresh can be recommended when the pigment becomes noticeably lighter.
Who is Permanent Makeup not suitable for?
PMU may not be suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with certain medical conditions, active skin conditions or some medications. If you are unsure, please contact me before booking so I can advise you.
Can you cover or correct old PMU?
This depends on the colour, saturation, shape and condition of the existing PMU. Please send clear photos before booking so I can assess whether a correction is possible or if removal/lightening is needed first.
Can I have Permanent Makeup if I already have old PMU?
Yes, in some cases. However, old PMU must be assessed first. If the existing pigment is too dark, saturated or has an unsuitable shape, removal or lightening may be required before a new treatment.
